About Us

Northridge Cooperative Homes is a $55 million non-profit corporation providing affordable ownership housing for its members. Each member purchases a share in the Cooperative which entitles the member to a proprietary lease on a dwelling unit in the development and participation in the operation of the Cooperative.

The operations of Northridge are governed by a Board of Directors that are elected by members and whose authority is defined in four (4) key documents: the Bylaws of the Corporation, the Regulatory Agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Occupancy Agreement and the Land Disposition Agreement signed with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. These documents are maintained and available to members upon request.
